SMART CITIES: INTEGRATING INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY, AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT

This paper examines the development of smart cities as a response to rapid urbanization and digital transformation. Smart cities integrate innovative technologies to improve urban infrastructure, enhance quality of life, and promote sustainable development. The study analyzes current smart city projects worldwide and explores Uzbekistan's emerging initiatives in this domain. The findings suggest that while challenges remain, smart cities represent a promising approach to addressing urban challenges in the 21st century.
