The Science Festival as a platform for realisation of socio-cultural activities of the Belarusian Agricultural Library

The article deals with the experience of participation of the Belarusian Agricultural Library in a large-scale popular science event - the Science Festival - asan effective way to generate a permanent interest in the achievements of science and a positive attitude of various groups of users to library activities. Examples of thelibrary's cooperation with educational, cultural and scientific institutions to attract attention to the library and information sphere, popularisation of science and itsachievements are shown.
