Neurogenetic and neuroreconstructive homeostasis from cellular and molecular organisation of the nervous system
Nervous system is a complex structural and functional network among the total organ systems of a living being which responds to the physical as well as chemical stimuli. Nervous system developed from the ectodermal neural epithelium or neural plate is determinatively made into these neuronal and nonneuronal cells. Neuronal cells act as structural and functional entities of the nervous system whereas non-neuronal cells behave as conduits for support and protection to neuronal cells. The existence of distinct cellular contribution in CNS facilitates a specialized neurovasculature in order to maintain the homeostatic balance. Cerebral blood flow or CBF otherwise called as perfusion is a requisite for this homeostasis.
