Morowali, Ranu River Area. Lowland rain forest, malaise trap. 27.01– 20.04.1980. M.J.D. Brendell leg. (BMNH). Remarks. Paraphloeostiba papuana was known from several localities of New Guinea (Western New Guinea (Indonesia) and Papua New Guinea; see Shavrin (2024a)). It is here recorded from Sulawesi for the first time.
