RSS MOLDOVENEASCĂ ÎN PERIOADA POSTBELICĂ: POLITICI ȘI TRANSFORMĂRI
Summary. The post-war evolution of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic was characterized by radical transformations under the direct influence of Stalinist policies. The process of reconstruction and industrialization, the forced collectivization of agriculture, political and cultural repression and the policy of russification had a profound impact on moldavian society. The Kremlin authorities suppressed local autonomy and repressed opposition through mass deportations and political repression, targeting the local elite. The deportations destroyed the social structure and changed the ethnic composition. Local resistance, including acts of disobedience and underground groups, persisted in the face of repressive policies. In this article we will analyze these transformations that shaped the economic, social and political structure of the Moldavian SSR and paved the way for further developments in the post-Stalinist period.Key words: ideology, post-war propaganda, Stalinism, indoctrination
