Paper 52: Emergent Pions and Nuclear Binding from Holosphere Shell Interactions: A Structural Approach to QCD
We present a structural reinterpretation of nuclear binding and pionmediation within the framework of Holosphere Theory. Departing fromthe conventional quantum chromodynamics (QCD) view of pions as quarkantiquark mesons mediated by gluon exchange, we propose that pionsemerge as metastable coherence strain packets within a discrete, rotat-ing lattice of Planck-scale units. In this model, nucleons are Holospheresspherical coherence structures—whose binding arises from the angularstrain required to maintain triadic rotational alignment across shell bound-aries. We derive an expression for the energy of such strain packets, show-ing that pion-like structures naturally emerge when adjacent Holospheresexperience phase misalignment. These coherence bridges exhibit finitemass, range, and decay properties consistent with meson phenomenology, but without invoking virtual particles or color charge. We further demon-strate that this framework predicts environment-sensitive pion behavior, anisotropic nuclear binding, and emergent saturation effects. HolosphereTheory thus provides a coherent geometric alternative to QCD, ground-ing the strong nuclear force in angular strain dynamics within a quantizedrotational medium.
