It is established that a factor analysis of the efficiency of use of fixed assets shouldbe carried out in the context of the influence of the factors of capital productivity and profitability ofsales on the resulting indicator of profitability; and the efficiency of use of intangible assets using the model of Additional Return on Intangible Assets Invested, as well as the model, which, in the absenceof information on the profit received from the use of an intellectual product, is proposed for use byexternal financial analysts. It is noted that specific indicators characterizing the efficiency of use ofretail space and warehouses are of particular value in a comprehensive study of non–current assetsof trade enterprises. As a result of the sectoral analysis of non–current assets, it is found that thestructural share has increased in investment property and capital investments in progress, whichindicates a reorientation of enterprises in the industry to receive rental payments, as opposed to theproduction of goods and services. There is also a negative trend toward an increase in the depreciationrate and a decrease in the serviceability rate, which may affect the quality of business.
