Smart Home Automation System
Abstract This article describes the design and implementation of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based Smart Home Automation System that improves home appliance and security system management and monitoring. The suggested system combines a number of sensors and actuators to offer reliable intruder detection, automatic lighting, and effective energy management. Using Wi-Fi and Zigbee as communication technologies guarantees smooth data transfer between devices and the central control unit. Real-time monitoring and control are made possible via an intuitive mobile and online interface, which greatly enhances user convenience and security. The energy management module schedules and monitors household devices intelligently to maximize power use. Energy waste is decreased via automated lighting, which adjusts to occupancy and surrounding conditions. Motion and door/window sensors are used by the intrusion detection system to identify unwanted entry and notify homeowners in a timely manner. High levels of dependability, energy efficiency, and successful intrusion detection are demonstrated by system testing. By providing a complete solution for contemporary house management, this smart home automation system advances smart home technology.
