AN EXPLORATION OF THE APPLICATION OF THE PAD TEACHING METHOD IN UNIVERSITY MATHEMATICS TEACHING

This paper aims to explore the application effectiveness and practical strategies of the PAD teaching method in university mathematics education. By analysing the issues with traditional university mathematics teaching models, it explains the theoretical basis and advantages of the PAD teaching method. Combining actual teaching cases, it discusses the specific implementation process of the PAD teaching method in university mathematics classrooms and compares and analyses the teaching effectiveness of the PAD teaching method and traditional teaching methods through teaching experiments. The research results indicate that the PAD teaching method can effectively enhance students' learning motivation, self-directed learning abilities, and mathematical application skills, thereby providing new insights and approaches for university mathematics education reform.
