DEFECTS IN HEAT TREATMENT OF PRODUCTS FROM STRUCTURAL STEELS AND WAYS TO ELIMINATE THEM

Abstract The article studies technological defects of heat treatment and their influence on the change in structure and destruction of products made of structural steels provided to the accredited Testing Center of the Institute of Powder Metallurgy named after Academician O.V. Roman of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus by leading enterprises of mechanical engineering and petrochemistry of Belarus. The causes of defect formation and ways of their elimination are shown. Analysis and systematization of the research results will allow eliminating technological defects of heat treatment, increasing the reliability and durability of products made of structural steels.
