BIOACOUSTIC CORRECTION OF COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT IN STROKE PATIENTS
Common complications of stroke include nervous system disorders such as anxiety and depression, and cognitive impairments including memory, attention, and speech problems such as aphasia and dysarthria. [6]. These factors complicate the rehabilitation process of stroke patients and increase the level of disability. In the treatment of neurological complications arising after stroke, considerable attention is paid to the method of bioacoustic correction of the brain. Bioacoustic correction is a relatively new hardware method of treatment, which is used in functional disorders of the central nervous system, for the treatment of the consequences of organic brain damage, such as stroke. [2,7]. This study investigated the effectiveness of BAC in cognitive rehabilitation in post-stroke patients. Dynamic examination of 48 patients with cognitive impairment at the second stage of rehabilitation was performed. The patients were divided into 2 groups: 30 patients received nootropic therapy and had sessions with a neuropsychologist, and 18 patients of the main group additionally received BAC.
