Carious teeth entitle large loss of the material that lead to different response to loads. Odontoblast will act as a strain gauge that will be affected by the deformation of the pulp tissues resulted from the exaggerated deformation of the dentinal tooth frame. Stiffness of the tooth structure will affect the pulp response. In this paper we want to introduce this mechanical concepts.
