Enhanced Four Fusion Test (Enhanced FFT): A Comprehensive Diagnostic and Monitoring System
Abstract The Enhanced Four Fusion Test (Enhanced FFT) builds upon the original FFT, first developed and peer-reviewed by Duke’s Pancreatic Cancer Research Laboratory (PCRL). By integrating advanced biomarkers and real-time monitoring capabilities, the Enhanced FFT enhances early cancer detection, tracking, and profiling. Expanding the original biomarker panel (PSA, CEA, miR-21, HE4) with CA 19-9, AFP, MMP-9, CA-125, and HER-4, the Enhanced FFT improves diagnostic specificity for pancreatic cancer, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), and other aggressive malignancies. This modular framework also adapts to non-oncological biomarker-associated illnesses, marking a significant step toward precision medicine.
