Problems and prospects of the development of logistics management in Ukraine

The subject of the study is the problems and prospects of the development of logistics managementin Ukraine.The purpose of the study is to determine promising ways to improve logistics managementprocedures in Ukraine.Research methods. The article uses the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method ofanalysis and synthesis, the comparative method, and the method of summarizing data.Work results. The article presents problems and prospects for the development of logisticsmanagement in Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the need to develop the infrastructure of logisticsprocesses and their informatization, as well as the introduction of innovative solutions in themanagement of the logistics sphere. The role of public–private partnership in these processes is revealed. The need to increase attention to environmental issues in the development of logistics management has been proved.Conclusions. Logistics management in Ukraine has a number of significant problems, but thereare also such factors that contribute to the development of this area. It is necessary to concentrateefforts on improving infrastructure, using modern technologies and training personnel to achieveoptimization of logistics processes and increase their efficiency. One of the important aspects forsolving logistics management problems in Ukraine is the integration of innovative solutions, such asblockchain technologies to ensure transparency and security of contracts in logistics chains. Thiswill make it possible to reduce fraud risks and ensure effective monitoring of goods at all stages oftransportation. In addition, it is important to develop a public–private partnership that will be able toattract private investment in infrastructure. Joint projects between the state and business will be ableto accelerate the modernization of transport routes and logistics facilities, which in turn will increasethe competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy. Equally important is attention to the ecological aspectsof logistics. The creation of green logistics solutions, such as the use of ecological transport and theintroduction of alternative delivery methods, will be able not only to reduce the negative impact onthe environment, but also to improve the image of companies in the eyes of consumers. Thanks to acomprehensive approach to solving existing problems and opening up new opportunities, Ukraine hasthe potential to become an important player in the market of international logistics services.
