Summary. Vasile Voiculescu was, is and will remain an emblematic personality for Romanianculture and spirituality and beyond. Always having a dignified, modest and withdrawn attitude, sometimes perhaps too modest, the “hesychast poet” left us as a legacy a complex, inexhaustible workwith countless facets. It is a work from which, if you dare to share, you will transform yourself, moreprecisely, your soul will undergo a transformation. The entire prose of V. Voiculescu seems to beorganized in a unitary system of searches and answers to a single question: Can man overcome hisown condition and become another through the awakening of his soul? Can he see God? What doesit mean to see God and how can we reach this improved spiritual state?The prose writer Voiculescu will try to answer all these questions in his writings that outlinehis short prose.
