An Essential Parameters of Fever in Neonates Include Objectives, Pathophysiology, Toxicokinetics, Diagnosis, Differential Diagnosis and Treatment

The World Health Organization categorizes neonatal sepsis as early or late dependent upon the age of onset. Early neonatal sepsis impacts infants less than 72 hours of age ( some experts will extend it to 7 days), whereas late-onset infections are observed in infants between 72 hours and 28 days of age. Reducing the substantial morbidity and mortality in this age group associated with neonatal sepsis depends in large part on early detection and treatment. The presentation, assessment, and treatment of neonatal sepsis are explained in this exercise.
