Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/reeder2021 hash://md5/9a74f0eaddd51f899d63e4ba20dc22d3
Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/reeder2021, has fingerprint hash://md5/9a74f0eaddd51f899d63e4ba20dc22d3, is 31.4KiB in size and contains 9 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., pathogenOf) between 6 primary taxa (e.g., Ebola virus) and 9 associated taxa (e.g., Hypsignathus monstrosus (1), seven other unidentified bats). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
