source files:Closing global yield gap of rainfed wheat by Optimizing Nitrogen and Phosphorus Inputs
The Extended Global Yield Gap Atlas (GYGA) utilizes a stepwise regression model on a global scale to provide comprehensive data, including water-limited potential yield (Yw), actual yield (Ya), actual water productivity (WPA), potential water productivity (WPP), and annual precipitation. Additionally, GYGA offers insights into actual nitrogen fertilizer application and the minimum nitrogen and phosphorus inputs required to achieve target yields at 50%, 70%, and 80% of Yw in rainfed wheat production systems. These datasets are available in raster (TIFF) and Excel formats. This information is crucial for understanding and addressing the disparities between potential and actual crop yields, thereby aiding in the development of strategies to enhance global food security.
