Human-AI Collaboration and TSTM: A Partnership for the Energy Transition with DNV
This paper explores the Tubular Storage Tank Module (TSTM), a modular, decentralized storage solution for compressed methane (CH₄), developed through human-AI collaboration (ChatGPT, Grok 3, Gemini, Manus) in May-June 2025. TSTM addresses energy transition challenges identified in DNV’s „From Silos to Systems“ report (June 2025) and Euronews findings (May 2025), including 50-100 TWh curtailment and 1,700 GW of stalled renewables across Europe. Featuring <10 €/kWh, 2.5 TWh capacity, and maritime logistics (103.7 GWh per ship), TSTM offers a scalable, rapid-deployment alternative to LNG. The paper proposes a partnership with DNV for pilot projects, enhancing grid stability and accelerating renewable integration.
