HEURISTIC-THRESHOLD MODEL OF DECISION-MAKING IN DSS MONITORING OF IT SYSTEMS
Abstract The article examines the basis of the decision-making mechanism created in the decision support system (DSS). This system is designed to monitor and analyze the state of the IT infrastructure. This mechanism is based on a set of heuristic-threshold rules, which allows you to quickly interpret metrics obtained through the monitoring system. The selected thresholds are justified based on the analysis of metric distributions. The analysis of the possibility of developing the mechanism using the hierarchy analysis method for a multi-criteria choice of actions is carried out. These solutions make it possible to increase the efficiency of administration by reducing the cognitive load and reducing the response time to incidents.
