SMART GRID DEMAND SIDE MANAGEMENT USING IoT LOAD CONTROL METHOD

Abstract Innovative market for energy have undergone a transformation with the introduction of smart grids, which enable users to participate in demand response (DR) programs and achieve a balance between energy supply and demand. It can be difficult for users to respond to DR signals since they are typically less aware of what to do when they get one. With the use of DR signals, energy management controllers, or EMCs, were developed to automatically solve energy management issues. Rather than turning off a feeder, we have solved this issue automatically or from the smart grid by controlling individual loads using Arduino, ESP-8266, relays, and an online application or website. With this EMC integration into our current network, we will be able to remotely adjust load, lower the cost of electricity per unit, enhance power quality, and prevent peaks during off-peak hours. As a consequence, we were able to accomplish our necessary goals with our current infrastructure by using hardware and software solutions.

Abstract

Abstract Innovative market for energy have undergone a transformation with the introduction of smart grids, which enable users to participate in demand response (DR) programs and achieve a balance between energy supply and demand.
