The Unpublished Leskernick Diaries—Catalogue

Introduction to and catalogue of the unpublished Leskernick diaries, a series of diaries written by project participants as part of the 1995–99 Leskernick Project (The UCL Institute of Archaeology Bodmin Moor Bronze Age Landscapes Project). 60-odd surviving diaries have now been uploaded onto the Internet Archive. As soon as this is back online, these will be available at https://archive.org/details/@haggis_the_cat?query=leskernick. Intended to be used in the elucidation of archeological practice, the Leskernick diaries challenge the Project narrative, hitherto mediated exclusively through its directors and a handful of privileged others. Interestingly, and perhaps not insignificantly, the UCL Institute of Archaeology's Leskernick website referenced in this introduction was taken down just days after I uploaded the present upload. In due course, the diaries will also be uploaded onto Zenodo.

Abstract

Introduction to and catalogue of the unpublished Leskernick diaries, a series of diaries written by project participants as part of the 1995–99 Leskernick Project (The UCL Institute of Archaeology Bodmin Moor Bronze Age Landscapes Project). 60-odd surviving diaries have now been uploaded onto the Internet Archive.
