HydroVisionAI-Driven CubeSat and Blockchain Integration for Smart Water Management

Abstract Water resource management is vital to resolving global water scarcity, yet conventional approaches are filled with inefficiencies in monitoring, data acquisition, and governance. This paper presents HydroVision, a new approach incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI), CubeSat remote sensing, and Blockchain technology to optimize water resource mapping and conservation. AI algorithms forecast water availability from past and present hydrological data, while CubeSats supply frequent, high-resolution satellite images for real-time tracking. Blockchain guarantees transparent, tamper-evident water data management to anticipate manipulation and create trust in water distribution. A literature review identifies knowledge gaps in existing literature, necessitating the development of a theoretical model to be tested in future applications. This paper presents a framework for merging new technologies in smart water governance and challenges researchers to test and deploy the HydroVision model
