The Universe Remembers, Holographically
Imagine the universe as a vast record, a cosmic vinyl filled with intricate interference patterns-waves of light imprinted onto the surface. At the center of this record lies the singularity, a point of infinite density and information. But how does this information come to be known, felt, and experienced? The answer lies in Hawking radiation, which acts like the needle on a record player. Just as the needle traces the grooves of a record to produce sound, the Hawking radiation reads the interference patterns of light at the singularity, carrying encoded information about the universe's structure, its past, and all the events that have ever occured. This process of "reading" the interference patterns projects that information onto the holographic screen-a vast surface where everything that happens in the universe is displayed. We, as observers, live on this screen, where everything we experience is a projection of the information carried by the Hawking radiation.
