Effect of proposed frontal bone complaint mechanism on its mechanical response as well as on the orbits

A The trauma response is a highly non-linear event. The designs of the osseous anatomical domains are precisely planned allowing room for development and to lessen trauma deleterious effects. Many weakening the craniofacial region provide controlled predefined response. We introduced a new approach to demonstrate the importance of graded damage pattern and how it will affect the fracture toughness. This numerical model demonstrates this concept clearly. These rules should be used to build our knowledge about development and trauma management.

Abstract

A The trauma response is a highly non-linear event. The designs of the osseous anatomical domains are precisely planned allowing room for development and to lessen trauma deleterious effects. Many weakening the craniofacial region provide controlled predefined response. We introduced a new approach to demonstrate the importance of graded damage pattern and how it will affect the fracture toughness. This numerical model demonstrates this concept clearly. These rules should be used to build our knowledge about development and trauma management.
