Incorporating Fluid-Surface Interactions in the Fokker-Planck Hydrodynamics
Abstract: This work discusses the influence of interparticle collisions on flow development in nanopores, allowing for the effect of the Knudsen number on fluid separation in aligned CNT arrays to be analysed. This work continues by investigating the multiscale phenomena which arise in rarefied flows, with the asymptotic behaviour of free-molecular diffusion and viscous hydrodynamic flow being outlined Keywords: Fokker-Planck Hydrodynamics, Stochastic Analysis, Nanoscale Flow
