THE PRINCIPLE OF DETERMINING THE TRUTH IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS: NATIONAL AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE

Annotation: In this article, we study the framework established within the system of the Criminal Procedure legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to determine the truth. We also conduct a comparative analysis with the Criminal Procedure legislation of several foreign countries in order to identify similarities and differences. Special attention is paid to the analysis of shortcomings in the current criminal procedure legislation, and proposals and solutions are developed to address them.
