THE SPECIFIC ACTIVITY OF THE SOVIET REPRESSIVE BODIES DURING THE ELECTIONS FOR THE SUPREME SOVIET OF THE MSSR OF FEBRUARY 16, 1947

At the beginning of the third millennium, we all want to live in a safe world, in which fundamental human rights and other values characteristic of democratic societies are respected. In countries with such traditions, the population manifests political and civic culture by participating in all the electoral votes that decide the future of the country. Such an exercise awaits the citizens of the Republic of Moldova on October 20, 2024, when the constitutional referendum for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union will be held. The majority of them declare that they will participate in the referendum and will opt for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU, noting that only in this way can we aspire to a prosperous and safe future. At the same time, the Russian Federation, through a series of provocations and illegal actions, tries to prevent this process. The political leadership from the Kremlin openly reports that they have begun the process of reconstituting the former Soviet Empire and the place of the Republic of Moldova is also there. Unfortunately, they started the “reconstitution” by launching wars of aggression against the Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine. At the same time carrying out a series of challenges at the border with the Baltic countries and other former Soviet republics, which obtained their independence in the 90s of the last century. During the last three decades, many politicians in the Russian Federation have taken over the qualities of former dictators, who established the Soviet totalitarian regime in the 20th century. Following the Stalinist model, their goal is to invade and colonize the former Soviet republics and to physically liquidate the representatives of the peoples who will resist this criminal project. The secret services of the Russian Federation use all heinous methods to destabilize the situation in these countries. Through various methods, they get involved in operations to remove pro-European political leaders from power, they prepare coups d’état, they promote dubious people to important positions that they use in the interests of Russia. An entire army of agents is infiltrated on both banks of the Dniester River, whose mission is to block the referendum and falsify its results. Thus, the secret services of the Russian Federation use the same methods as the Soviet repressive bodies during the elections held by the communist regime. In this context, the authors considered it necessary to present to the public a series of evidence based on archival materials, which demonstrate how the results of the elections for the Supreme Soviet of the MSSR on February 16, 1947 were falsified, specifying that the same methods were used during all the electoral polls held by the Soviet totalitarian regime. At the same time, they presented new documents regarding the specifics of the activity of the Soviet repressive bodies, when thousands of people were arrested on political orders for alleged counter-revolutionary activity, nationalism, anti-Soviet propaganda and agitation, preparation of armed rebellion and diversions against Soviet power, terrorism, banditry, supporting terrorists, etc., as well as other evidence, which confirms the falsification of the vote results in favor of the communist totalitarian regime.
