Macroeconomic Variables and their Impact on Total SEZ Exports from India
Abstract: Exports stages an important part of the advancement of the economy of any developing nation and exports are also considered a very important factor for foreign exchange earnings. Similarly, macroeconomic variables are the gauges of any country’s financial growth. In this study we are assuming that exports of any developing country are dependent upon various economic variables, some of them are having a positive impact on exports whereas some of them are having inverse. The selected macroeconomic variables are Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) influxes, Inflation, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and Exchange rate. We use multiple regression and ANOVA as statistical tools in the analysis of data. The existing investigation would empower us to identify the impact of above mentioned macroeconomic variables on exports; further we would try to conclude whether there is any correlation between these macroeconomic variables and exports or not.
