FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF AMIKACIN-LOADED PLGA NANOPARTICLES-BASED TRANSDERMAL PATCH FOR THE TREATMENT OF WOUND HEALING
Any physical harm to an organism's living tissue, whether in a human or an animal, is referred to as awound. resulting from recent physical strain. Humans can sustain injuries through burning, asphyxia, penetrating trauma, overexertion, blunt trauma, or toxic exposure. These injuries can happen accidentallyor on purpose. Wounds must heal properly to restore the skin's disrupted anatomical continuity anddisturbed functional status. The intricate process of healing, which is brought on by an injury, aims torestore the integrity and functionality of damaged tissues. The three overlapping phases of wound healingare cellular proliferation (3–12 days), remodelling (3-6 months), and inflammation (0–3 days). Thesephases are made possible by continuous interactions between cells and the matrix.
