Defect Quantification System Through Aerial Inspections

Aerial inspection tests are based on the qualitative interpretation of a series of patterns and defects through some type of photogrammetric test. Enertis Applus improves aerial inspections by implementing a software tool that allows for the quantitative interpretation of defects found in purely qualitative inspections. This tool allows for better identification of some types of defects that are more complicated to identify, such as LetID or PID in strings. The tool manage temperature histogram frequency of each individually module from aerial inspection Metadata, where the data is extrapolated to STC(Standard test conditions) and normalized, can be used to compare two randomly different modules on the PV plant to identify some deviations showing faults or thermal issues from a quantitative way using different statistical analysis tools.
