Synergy between Cultural Entrepreneurship and Territorial Intelligence

- Cultural entrepreneurship plays a fundamental role in sustainable regional development, enhancing cultural heritage, and stimulating regional economic and social dynamism. This research focuses on the Essaouira Gnaoua Festival, which embodies this dynamism. It aims to demonstrate how a cultural event can preserve and enhance a rich musical heritage, generate significant economic opportunities, and foster social cohesion. The methodology used is based on direct observation, supported by an in-depth literature review. The results of this study demonstrate that cultural entrepreneurship is not limited to simply organizing events, but is part of a broader logic of social and regional innovation. It also allows for a rethinking of the management and governance of cultural events by engaging various stakeholders, from local authorities to associations, including artists and businesses. Finally, this study highlights that social inclusion is a pivotal aspect of these initiatives, as it encourages community participation and fosters a sense of belonging to the region and cultural diversity. However, despite its positive impact, the Gnaoua festival model still faces some of the challenges inherent to cultural entrepreneurship in general, particularly financial and environmental. Keywords- Cultural entrepreneurship, artistic events, territorial innovation, social inclusion, sustainable development.
