Catechin ameliorates acetaminophen-induced liver injury by inhibiting Stat1 expression

This study showed that catechin possesses protective activity by remitting APAP-induced inflammation, oxidative stress, and ferroptosis. This protective mechanism is mediated through the downregulation of Stat1 expression. These findings suggest that catechin may be a promising candidate agent for APAP-induced acute liver.
