Investigation of Inflammatory Processes and Myelin Damage and Repair Mechanisms After Intracerebral Hemorrhage Using snRNA-seq
Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a devastating subtype of stroke, characterized by acute bleeding into brain tissue, which results in significant neurological impairment and poses major challenges for treatment. To elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying ICH pathology and recovery, we conducted single-nuclei RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) on brain tissue samples collected at defined time points (1, 3, 7, 14, and 28 days post-ICH). This approach enabled a comprehensive analysis of gene expression dynamics across various cell types, offering critical insights into the progression of inflammatory responses, neurodegeneration, and potential mechanisms involved in tissue repair and remyelination during ICH recovery.
