Serum Metabolomics of Fattening Simmental Crossbred Bulls

This study focuses on serum metabolomics analysis of Simmental crossbred fattening bulls, aiming to systematically elucidate the dynamic changes in key metabolic pathways and nutritional regulation mechanisms during the fattening process. Using high-throughput metabolomics techniques (e.g., LC-MS/GC-MS), we comprehensively characterized the dynamic profiles of small-molecule metabolites (such as amino acids, lipids, carbohydrates, and vitamins) in bull serum. By integrating phenotypic data on growth performance and feed conversion efficiency, we further revealed the correlations between metabolites and fattening efficiency, muscle development, and energy metabolism.
