The Heart and Blood Vessels

This activity comprises two parts. First, students practice identifying heart structures on models and obtain the instructor's signature. Then, they engage in a collaborative drawing exercise where roles are assigned for drawing heart anatomy and blood flow using colored chalk markers. The activity concludes with a cardiac histology component using microscopes. Students answer reflective questions and submit a photo of their collaborative drawing.
