Destierro y "destiempo". El futuro y el pasado en el pensamiento filosófico exiliado de Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez

pp. 86-97 As the exiled writer Josep Solanes states in his work Los nombres del exilio «the future of exile takes a detour through the past». Echoing the description of exile as a crisis in the experience of time, throughout this article aims at delving further into the existing links between the past and the future, as evidenced in part of the philosophical production of exile. More specifically, this paper focuses on the analysis and interpretation of the thought of Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez. Analyzing his reluctances towards the notion of «transtierro» and highlighting his interpretation of utopia will brings to the fore the connection between recovery of the past and the future.
