Redefining and co-transferring agricultural production
Micaya has a resilience mechanism, based on the ayllu, that is, the large portions of land called aynocas are rotated, so that the land rests. To this productive wealth has been added a series of technologies such as zeolites and living barriers, which allow the improvement of products, while preserving the land. The participants were men and women, 8 individual in-depth interviews and 2 circular interviews, in groups, were conducted. It was concluded that the community members of Micaya give new meanings to knowledge, through the use of Western knowledge, saying that, for example, the land becomes more moist, the potatoes no longer have grooves, they are nicer and larger than when zeolites are not used.
