PATIENT SATISFACTION OF INPATIENT GYNECOLOGICAL SERVICES IN ALMATY: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY
The aim of this study is to evaluate patient experiences and satisfaction with hospital-based gynecological services, segmented by age groups (18–44, 45–64, and over 64 years). A cross-sectional study among 253 women receiving inpatient gynecological care in Almaty hospitals assessed satisfaction and service quality. Most participants were under 65. Data were collected via anonymous questionnaires and analyzed in R using descriptive statistics and Chi-square or Fisher’s exact tests. The majority reported high satisfaction with appointment ease, wait times, staff professionalism, and communication. Most found working hours convenient and additional procedures necessary. No statistically significant differences were found across age groups in any measured category. These findings suggest that gynecological services are accessible and consistently rated positively by patients, regardless of age group.
