The article explores the role of the heading complex as a special structure-forming component of the text, contributing to the effective presentation of military-patriotic content in publications of Orthodox online publications (“House of Mercy”, “Pravmir”, “Pokrov”, “Thomas”), immersing the reader in the world of events taking place during the Great Patriotic War, helping the process of their objective understanding. The structural elements of the heading complex (heading, heading, subtitle, lead) are designed to maintain the author’s narrative-holistic and compositionally based picture of the military-patriotic content, helping the reader through the use of certain forms and techniques to fully reveal the thematic component of the publication, to realize a comprehensive perception of the semantic essence of the material, to form a cultural and moral worldview of the target audience of the Orthodox media due to the satisfaction of its spiritual needs in obtaining meaningful information about the events of the war years.
