MOBILE TECHNOLOGY FOR ADULT PATIENTS AFTER KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION: DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

Objective: To map the available scientific evidence in the literature on the use of mobile technologies in educating adult kidney transplant patients, in order to support the development of digital educational content. Methods: This scoping review follows the methodology proposed by Arksey and O'Malley and updated by Levac et al., as well as the recommendations of the JBI and the PRISMA-ScR checklist guidelines. Primary and secondary studies published in any language and at any time that address educational interventions using mobile technology with adult kidney transplant patients will be included. The search will be conducted in PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, CINAHL, LILACS, and BDENF, as well as in gray literature databases. Expected results: We hope to identify the mobile technology resources used for educational purposes, the developed content, its practical applicability, and the observed impacts in post-kidney transplant care. Conclusion: The findings could support the development of evidence-based digital educational content and contribute to improvements in treatment adherence, patient autonomy, and multidisciplinary care. Keywords: Kidney Transplantation Educational technology. Mobile application. Nursing; Postoperative care.
