Sequestered Vacuum Resonance (SVR): A Testable Oscillatory Dark Energy Model
Sequestered Vacuum Resonance (SVR) — a new hypothesis for dark energy in which there exists an isolated (sequestered) vacuum sector that exchanges energy with spacetime geometry through a weak nonlocal topological loop (analogous to a Ricci integral). This mechanism allows periodic modulation of the dark energy density ρ_DE without significant deviation of the equation-of-state parameter from w ≈ −1. The model predicts a harmonic modulation of the Hubble rate with an amplitude of about 1%, a period Δz ≈ 0.19, and a fixed phase across BAO, SN, and weak lensing. Parameters are chosen to remain consistent with ΛCDM within 1–1.5σ while producing a clear testable signal for DESI+SN+WL data.
