THE APPLICATION OF PHOTOVOICE IN UNDERSTANDING MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH IN VULNERABILITY CONTEXTS: A SCOPING REVIEW PROTOCOL

Photovoice is a useful participatory tool for listening to vulnerable populations and promoting health equity. Its use in maternal and child health is increasing, but there is a lack of reviews that systematize this knowledge, especially in contexts of multiple vulnerabilities. This protocol presents the steps for a scoping review that will map and characterize the available evidence on the use of photovoice in this area in vulnerable populations. The result will contribute to expanding knowledge about the method in promoting maternal and child health.
