Nursing Models and Strategies in Post-hospital Discharge Recovery following Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in Older adults: A Scoping Review Protocol
This scoping review aims to map and synthesize existing nursing models and strategies that support recovery in older adults following hospital discharge after total hip or knee arthroplasty. The review will explore interventions, care pathways, and frameworks used in post-discharge settings to promote functional recovery, patient autonomy, and continuity of care. By identifying gaps and consolidating current evidence, this protocol seeks to inform future nursing practices and research in orthopedic postoperative care.
