The General Theory of Entanglement Compression

Rather than relying on multiple axioms like the Born rule and constants, Entanglement Compression Theory (ECT) begins from a single axiom: existence equals motion; motion equals oscillation. From this causal foundation, probability, spacetime, and geometry are derived as deterministic consequences. ECT is therefore presented as a true unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity from an irreducible causal beginning. This paper presents the general theory of ECT as a single-field framework in which spacetime, particle properties, and effective constants emerge from an entangled wave function evolving under compression dynamics. A real compression operator governs amplitude deformation and replaces stochastic collapse. Energy division follows from the dynamics and reproduces the Born weights by derivation. The work introduces the compression tensor and its curvature response, sets out regularity and boundary conditions for well-posed evolution of the governing equation, and connects the high-frequency limit to eikonal and transport systems on the effective geometry. It also contrasts ECT with major interpretations of quantum mechanics to locate the theory in existing debates on causality and measurement. This paper is part of a coordinated series that supplies proofs, numerical studies, and specialized applications. Abstract
