Transformation of Communication Strategy and the Role of Digital Education in Islamic Da'wah in Indonesia
The development of information technology has brought a new face to the practice of Islamic da'wah in Indonesia. Da'wah now not only takes place in physical spaces, but also spreads through digital media that transcends geographical and generational boundaries. This change demands an adaptive, humanist, and contextual da'wah communication strategy, as well as the integration of digital education that shapes the character, spiritual literacy, and critical reasoning of the ummah. This paper examines the dynamics of communication strategies and digital education in da'wah through a reflective approach based on 30 scientific references. It emphasises the importance of collaboration between preachers, educational institutions and technology developers to realise ethical, inclusive and sustainable da'wah. Challenges such as limited internet access, lack of technology training, and rampant disinformation are obstacles that must be overcome. This article is a moral call for Muslims to make digital da'wah a civilisation movement that is enlightening and rahmatan lil 'alamin, with the foundations of faith, knowledge, and ethics.
