EMPOWERMENT OF ADOLESCENTS FOR HEALTH PROMOTION: SCOPING REVIEW
This study focuses on the concept of empowerment in the context of adolescent health promotion through a Scoping Review guided by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology. The research will utilize health-related databases, including Web of Science, CINAHL, Scopus, and MEDLINE via PubMED, accessed through the CAPES journal platform, with searches conducted from February to March 2025. The PCC framework (Population = adolescents, Concept = empowerment, Context = health promotion) structures the research question: "How is the concept of Adolescent Empowerment presented and evolved in the scientific literature in the context of Health Promotion?" A search strategy using controlled vocabularies like Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and CINAHL Headings will ensure a comprehensive and reliable literature review.
