Evaluating the iAlive tool for suicide prevention: Cross-cultural waitlist randomized controlled study
Suicide is a serious public health issue worldwide, and people who support those at risk—known as gatekeepers—need the right skills to help effectively. The iAlive tool, originally developed in Slovenia, is designed to improve these skills. This study will test how well the tool works in different cultural settings by training students from eight countries. Researchers will measure changes in their knowledge, attitudes, and confidence before and after using iAlive. The findings will help determine whether iAlive can be a useful global resource for suicide prevention.
