PARENTAL SELF-CARE AND HEALTH PROMOTION OF NEUROATYPICAL PRESCHOOL CHILDREN: A SCOPING REVIEW

This is a scoping review to map available articles on the challenges faced by parents of neuroatypical preschool children in relation to self-care and health promotion indexed in academic-scientific reference databases. We propose to conduct research between May and August 2025, following the methodology proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). The study will be guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) guidelines. The corresponding protocol will be registered on the Open Science Framework (OSF) platform. We hope that the results obtained will support the formulation of interdisciplinary strategies that are more sensitive to the needs of families and promote comprehensive care actions that consider not only the child but also those who assume their daily care.
