THIS SCOPING REVIW EFFECTIVENESS OF THE MANCHESTER PROTOCOL IN EMERGENCY SERVICESObjective: The present study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using the Manchester triage protocol for organizing emergency health services. Method: The present study is a scoping review. The objective of a scoping review is to map, through a rigorous and transparent method, the state of the art in a thematic area, aiming to provide a descriptive view of the reviewed studies, without critically evaluating them or summarizing evidence from different investigations. (Ferraz et al., 2019). The search for articles was carried out using the MEDLINE databases, via PubMed, LILACS, SciELO and BDENF, via the Virtual Health Library (VHL). Allied to gray literature, occurring in the period from December 2024 to February 2025, the following inclusion criteria were established: articles in Portuguese, English or Spanish, which address any period published and as exclusion criteria articles that do not meet the study objective or that are not available in full
